# Glossary

Here the words we use are explained briefly and without jargon.

**[Course](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#course)**

A set of lessons by one author on one topic. A course has a description page open to everyone and materials available after purchase.

**[Course package](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#course-package)**

A purchase option for the same course. Packages differ in what they include — lesson materials, cheat sheets, questions to the author — in price and in access period.

**[Access period](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#access-term)**

How long the materials stay open after payment. Set by the author in the package; it can also be unlimited. When the period ends, access closes.

**[Course author](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#course-author)**

The person or company that published the course. The author sets the price and the package contents and decides how closely to answer learners.

**[Questionnaire (brief)](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#brief)**

Questions about the course that the author answers when creating it. The answers become the course page and the lesson structure.

**[Language version of a course](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#language-version)**

A course in another language linked to the original: its own videos, its own text, its own packages. It goes into the catalog of its language on equal terms with courses originally created in it.

**[Catalog](https://tempussit.com/en/glossary#catalog)**

The list of courses in the selected language. Catalogs of different languages don't mix: the Spanish one shows courses in Spanish.
